Assault Is A Violent Crime

Many people make the mistake of thinking an assault charge is not very important. However, assault is a violent crime, and you do not want a conviction on your record. You need an experienced, aggressive attorney to defend you against these charges. If you have been charged with an assault crime in Minnesota or Wisconsin, call the Law Office of John J. Leunig today.

Our founding attorney is certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a Criminal Law Specialist and has handled countless assault cases during his 27-year career. Through his insight, we know how to build a strong defense and fight back against these charges. You can rely on us to thoroughly investigate your case and build the strongest defense possible. When we represent you, we look for mitigating factors such as self-defense and seek to have inadmissible evidence suppressed at trial. We will present the most compelling arguments possible in your defense and vigorously execute them at trial with the sole purpose of obtaining an acquittal. In cases that don’t go to trial, we negotiate aggressively to obtain the fairest and most favorable resolution that can be achieved.

….I do believe that God guided me through all the Attorney letters, emails and phone calls to meet you. I must admit that neither the implied consent decision or this last plea agreement came as a surprise, I thank you for that. From day one, you were open and honest about what could happen to me leaving a window of optimism open. I’ve also felt from day one a feeling of comfort knowing that the office of John Leunig cares about his clients far beyond the income they generate for you. …It’s hard to find honesty and sincerity nowadays from anyone, but I’ve found that with you, I appreciate that. I will be advertising your law office to all my friends or anyone I run across in the future. Yes, I’d like to be the CEO of the John Leunig Law Office Fan Club. lol.
