Assault Is A Violent Crime
Our founding attorney is certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a Criminal Law Specialist and has handled countless assault cases during his 27-year career. Through his insight, we know how to build a strong defense and fight back against these charges. You can rely on us to thoroughly investigate your case and build the strongest defense possible. When we represent you, we look for mitigating factors such as self-defense and seek to have inadmissible evidence suppressed at trial. We will present the most compelling arguments possible in your defense and vigorously execute them at trial with the sole purpose of obtaining an acquittal. In cases that don’t go to trial, we negotiate aggressively to obtain the fairest and most favorable resolution that can be achieved.

Thank you so much for the incredibly competent legal counsel and personal support. Thank you so much.
Thanks again for your help in getting my son’s case dismissed. Hopefully everyone learns from this unfortunate incident. Your advice and connections were very important at a stressful time.
I never had a chance to properly thank you for helping me out of that jam with my DWI. You were huge.
Where could I begin to say thank you for all you have done for Kevin and I. You have held our hands and calmed us down through the most difficult moments in this case. You’ve always remained positive, supportive and optimistic. We had a great outcome and couldn’t have agreed more with you on all your decisions. Thank you for always answering all of our questions and being patient while I was frustrated. I don’t know what we would have done without you both. You guys are AWESOME! We will forever have you in our hearts and lives. Because of you I have been given a second chance in life!!! Thank you for everything.
I so appreciate your entire team’s efforts in my case. Your hard work, diligence and heads-up play really made all the difference in the outcome. I will forever be indebted.
Thank you very much for your excellent job in representing me in court for my case. Thank you especially for keeping me out of jail as that was the primary reason for hiring you. My friends have commented. “You got off easy” and I reply, “I give credit to my attorney John Leunig, I found him in the St. Paul Yellow Pages under Attorneys.” Thank you again.
It takes a good lawyer and supportive family – and even the worst situation can have a positive result! His life would have been very different had he not had you for his lawyer, I doubt that he would have accomplished many of the milestones he made since that time…
I don’t know how to go about thanking you for helping me through the toughest time of my life. I never thought someone like me would have to face allegations like these. This was terrible. Me and my daughter would love for you to know how much we appreciate all that you do. I wish there were more people like you. Thank you and your staff for all you have done to help (I will never forget this). You’ve won our hearts.
I wanted to thank you for five years of freedom. A bottle of Dom Perignon is in the mail.
Thank you for all your efforts over the past few months. Your expertise and the way you treated me and the case was much appreciated! I can now move forward after the mistakes I have made. Best wishes to you and your practice.
